Episode three, when I bit more than I could chew. I made 50 pages in the last one, so I thought, why not make a huge album like those 80 pages Corto Maltese graphic novels. The lesson is, the bigger a project is, the more probable it is you won't finish it. Although I did finish it, the ending is pretty botched and the story is waaaaaaay too long for nothing. You live you learn. Too bad I didn't finish it before Sept. 11 2001, or else all my jokes about the Taliban would have looked a lot more smart (hey, I still knew who the Talibans were way before 9/11, I should get a prize for that.) I think I started to work on this in 1997 and I finished nearly ten years later... Most the episode is inspired by Corto Maltese in Siberia.
